Our bankruptcy department specializes in the representation of automotive finance companies, banks and other creditors, for whom we handle thousands of Chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcy cases each year in United States Bankruptcy Courts throughout the State of Michigan. We are online with our Bankruptcy Courts and Trustees, and are able to monitor our cases on a daily basis and provide timely reporting to our clients.
Over the years, our bankruptcy practitioners have developed a presence in the local bankruptcy community. Our bankruptcy attorneys are in Bankruptcy Courts every day, and are well known to the Judges and Trustees. We also handle bankruptcy appeals before the Federal District Courts in Michigan and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Cincinnati. Our representation has resulted in favorable decisions on leading edge bankruptcy issues.
We also represent our creditor clients in state court actions to recover possession of collateral. We are statewide replevin counsel for several auto finance companies, for whom we have handled hundreds of cases throughout the State of Michigan.
